Physical operations power nearly every aspect of modern life. Behind every package delivery, construction project and essential service is a complex system that keeps our global economy running. Innovation in these operations – whether creating safer methods, enhancing worker productivity or streamlining processes – has the potential to benefit all of us. 

Today, we’re excited to introduce 100 Fleet Operators to Watch, a new programme celebrating the leaders who drive meaningful change in transportation, construction, field services and beyond. 

Many of these innovators started on the front lines and have since turned their hands-on experience into improvements that make a real difference, from more reliable supply chains to safer roads for everyone. Although each has taken a unique path, they share a remarkable ability to turn the toughest fleet challenges into practical solutions. 

As global logistics become more complicated and new technologies such as AI continue to change the way we work and live, these 100 individuals are the ones to pay attention to. They rise to every challenge and if the future looks anything like their past, you won’t want to miss what they do next.

Ashley Marie Best-Riggins 

Fleet Manager, Flock Safety

Ashley leads fleet operations at Flock Safety, where she keeps hundreds of vehicles running smoothly across the country. She’s led new approaches to managing vehicle shortages and streamlined commercial van layouts to help technicians work more efficiently. With her practical solutions, field teams are able to stay safe and productive while controlling costs.

Koriann Bateman

Fleet and Facilities Manager, Sunrun

In less than a year, Koriann helped Sunrun reduce accidents by 32% and decreased drowsy driving incidents. Koriann won driver support by explaining how dash cams could protect them on the road and provide the footage needed to prove when they weren’t at fault, helping to build trust across the company.

Dennis brings his 22-year U.S. Marine Corps leadership experience to make a positive impact on safety in heavy construction, helping to implement technology solutions that have significantly reduced accidents.
