The Asset Tag works by using Bluetooth technology in conjunction with the Samsara Network, an industrial network made up of data from over 2 million Vehicle and Asset Gateways. The Asset Tag emits a Bluetooth signal that is detected by nearby Samsara gateways. The Samsara Network coverage is able to provide near real-time location updates through the Samsara dashboard, where you can track and manage tagged assets.
