Like you, we are closely tracking COVID-19 and adapting our business as the situation changes. Our highest priorities have been protecting the safety of our employees, customers, and community, while also ensuring that we continue to provide reliable products and solutions to support your operations during this unprecedented time.
Samsara customers provide the critical infrastructure to keep our communities safe and our economy running. I wanted to send a personal message to let you know that you have our full support, and we will do all we can to exceed your expectations.
Here is what we’re doing to support you:
1. Securing Our Supply Chain: Over the past months, we have been working with our partners to ensure our hardware supply chain is not impacted. Our suppliers are operating at close to or at normal capacity and we do not foresee any disruption to product availability.
2. Staying On Top of Regulatory Changes: We are in communication with regulators to ensure that you have the tools you need to navigate any changes. For customers in the US, we’ve put together guidance on the FMCSA’s recent HOS suspension for carriers and drivers who are providing direct assistance in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
3. Operating our Business Remotely: To help slow the spread of COVID-19 and protect vulnerable populations, all of our employees are working from home and we’ve ceased all non-essential travel. We have put a plan in place to ensure you receive uninterrupted service and support from our team:
We have equipped all employees with the technology they need to work from home effectively, ensure minimal disruption to operations, and provide the support you need throughout this time. Our Customer Support team continues to operate 24x7.
While we unfortunately cannot travel for in-person visits, our team will be providing all of our normal functions over video conference.
4. Monitoring Governmental Guidance: We’re maintaining strict adherence to guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO), US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and local government agencies. As this guidance evolves, so will our processes and procedures.
The work you do is critical in keeping our communities functioning, safe, and supported during this time, and we’re here to step up to this challenge alongside you. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help further.
Stay safe and healthy.
