To help candidates understand what it’s like to work at Samsara, we interviewed the DACH team, which is based in the new Munich office and forms a key part of our expanding EMEA presence.
Till is the DACH region’s Head of Marketing for Samsara. Having taken on the role just a few months ago, he sees Samsara as a unique place to work with its combination of technology, sustainability, and a supportive environment.
The thing he likes most about working for Samsara? The people. Till ranks the Samsara DACH team as the best he’s ever worked with throughout his long tech career and values the company’s emphasis on prioritising the health and well-being of its employees.

Thomas joined Samsara three and a half years ago and now works as a Field Sales Engineer, owning technical pre-sales for our largest and most strategic prospective customers. His role covers multiple levels of the technology stack and includes partnering with sales executives to execute strategic deals, match customer pain points to Samsara solutions, and establish strong customer relationships across the DACH region.
What Thomas finds most rewarding about his role is that he and the team can have a real-world impact on the lives of customers by increasing their safety. Among the many standout moments of his Samsara career, one of his favourites was when the team signed their first big enterprise customer.
Mathias has been with Samsara for over four years and is currently working as a Senior Sales Manager, looking after teams that cover Benelux, DACH, and strategic accounts. Mathias is inspired by seeing his team succeed in new markets, where they’ve been able to grow the customer base from scratch and smash sales records.
His advice for new candidates is to research Samsara’s vision and culture, and how the leadership embodies its core company values: focus on customer success, build for the long term, adopt a growth mindset, be inclusive, and win as a team.
Elisabeth recently joined Samsara as a Technical Support Engineer, providing best-in-class hardware and software assistance to German and English customers.
Working with other support engineers, Elisabeth uses her technical and communication skills to solve complex customer problems and ensure they get the most out of Samsara products and services.
Elisabeth is particularly inspired by the people at Samsara and how supportive and helpful they’ve been as she’s settled into her new role. Her favourite moments so far have been meeting and having fun with her new colleagues at in-person and virtual events.
