Sanjit Biswas is the CEO and co-founder of Samsara, which allows businesses that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable business insights and improve their operations. He co-founded the company with the mission to increase the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of the operations that power the global economy. The Samsara Connected Operations Cloud, a leading system of record for physical operations, supports tens of thousands of customers. Samsara has been recognized as one of BuiltIn's 2023 US Best Places to Work, one of Deloitte's 2022 North America Technology Fast 500 fastest-growing companies, and as the IoT Analytics Company of the Year in the 2022 IoT Breakthrough Awards.
Prior to Samsara, Sanjit was the CEO and co-founder of Meraki, one of the most successful networking companies of the past decade. Sanjit grew Meraki from his Ph.D. research into a complete enterprise networking portfolio, with cloud-based management that revolutionized the deployment of large networks. Meraki's sales doubled every year from inception, earning the company tens of thousands of customers. In 2012, Cisco acquired Meraki for $1.2 billion. Under his leadership, Cisco Meraki continued to grow at over 100%, making it one of Cisco's fastest-growing product lines in history.
Sanjit has been recognized as an MIT Technology Review "Innovator Under 35" honoree, a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum, Glassdoor's 2018 Top CEO, one of Goldman Sachs 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs, and one of The Software Report's top 50 SaaS CEOs. He has received many awards for academic research in computer networking and is an investor in several startups. Sanjit holds a B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering from Stanford and an S.M. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. He lives in the Bay area with his family.

He co-founded the company with the mission to increase the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of the operations that power the global economy. He is responsible for Samsara's disruptive technology that makes operating thousands of sensors simple and secure.</p>
<p>Prior to co-founding Samsara, John co-founded Meraki, where he was CTO and VP of Engineering. At Meraki, he led the Meraki technical team and built a cloud-based platform that combines analytics, big data, and security that transformed how customers deployed and managed wifi and networking infrastructure. Originating from his research while a Ph. D. student at MIT, John and his team built integrated hardware, software, and cloud-based services that became the most widely deployed cloud managed edge networking platform. Meraki's product lines spanning wifi, switching, routing, firewalls, and mobile-device-management scaled to connect hundreds of millions of network devices across more than 140 countries. After Cisco acquired Meraki for $1.2 billion, John led Meraki as Cisco's fastest-growing cloud product and one of Cisco’s most successful acquisitions.</p>

Lara brings nearly 25 years of experience to Samsara, where she is responsible for leading Sales and Customer Outcomes. Before Samsara, Lara was Chief Customer and Partner Officer for ServiceNow, overseeing nearly 2,500 global employees across organizations including customer success, professional services, and channel ecosystem. Previously, she served as ServiceNow’s Chief Strategy Officer. Before joining ServiceNow, Lara was a partner at Bain & Company, where she advised technology companies on growth and go-to-market strategy.
Lara holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and English Literature from St. Olaf College, a MIB from the University of Sydney as a Fulbright Scholar, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Dominic is the EVP, Chief Financial Officer at Samsara and leads worldwide financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, procurement, tax, treasury, corporate development, investor relations, legal, IT, and real estate. Previously, Dominic was VP of Finance and Head of Corporate Development at ServiceNow where he led several finance functions, including financial planning and analysis, investor relations, treasury, and corporate development. Prior to ServiceNow, Dominic was a VP on Morgan Stanley's technology investment banking team where he advised technology companies on a wide range of transformational financings and strategic transactions.
Dominic holds a B.S. in Business from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, an MBA from UC Berkeley, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Kiren Sekar leads Samsara’s global product organization as Chief Product Officer, overseeing the company’s product strategy, design, and engineering. Kiren led the Product organization since founding, and also served as Samsara’s Chief Strategy Officer between July 2022 and February 2024.
Prior to joining Samsara, Kiren was VP of Marketing at Meraki (now part of Cisco Systems), where he helped grow the business from $5M to over $500M in annual revenue. Prior to that, Kiren held software engineering and management positions at various startups and at Apple, and holds patents for network protocol design from his work there.
Kiren has a B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford.

Ben brings over 15 years of experience to Samsara, where he is responsible for hardware design and operations. Before Samsara, Ben was VP of Hardware Engineering and Operations at Meraki, where he led the development of over 40 unique hardware products. Working with the industry's top semiconductor companies, Ben created a nimble development and supply chain operation that enabled Meraki to rapidly bring new products to market and scale to ship hundreds of thousands of units globally. Prior to Meraki, Ben was a key member of Apple's hardware team, where he managed notebook launches and iPod supply chains. Ben has also developed PVD and CVD semiconductor equipment at Applied Materials.
Ben has an S.B. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Stanford.

Meagen Eisenberg is a seasoned executive and board member, and brings a collective experience of nearly 25 years from some of the fastest-growing and most successful companies in enterprise and SaaS technology. In her current role, Meagen leads the marketing and growth teams of Samsara as its Chief Marketing Officer. Eisenberg joined Samsara from Lacework (acquired by Fortinet), where she was Chief Marketing Officer and led the marketing, growth, and sales development teams. Previously, she was the Chief Marketing Officer at Navan (formerly TripActions) and has held senior marketing leadership positions at DocuSign, HP Enterprise, and ArcSight.
Eisenberg has a MIS and CSC at California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo and an MBA from Yale School of Management.

Steve Pickle joins Samsara from Salesforce, where he was Executive Vice President of Global People Strategy and Operations. He served in that role from 2018 to 2022. Pickle was Salesforce’s Interim Chief People Officer in 2019, helping to oversee Salesforce’s $15B acquisition of Tableau. Before that, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Salesforce’s Enterprise Business Unit, the Head of Cloud Sales in the Americas, and as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales Strategy and Global Pipeline. Prior to Salesforce, he served as Vice President of Strategy and Operations at VMware from 2011-2012. Pickle graduated from Grinnell College, and holds a M.Sc from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.

Robert leads Customer Outcomes at Samsara and is responsible for enabling customers to get the most value from its products through effective implementation, training, and ongoing engagement. In his prior role as Director of Business Operations, Robert enabled the scaling of Samsara by leading sales productivity, market entry, and operational efficiency initiatives as well as building the Business Operations function. Before Samsara, Robert was an Associate Partner with McKinsey & Company where he led over 25 growth, efficiency, and organization building initiatives for global organizations.
Robert holds a B.S. in Economics from Yale and an MBA from Wharton.

Stephen is the CIO at Samsara. He oversees all aspects of the company’s Information Technology including, business applications, data & analytics, information security, IT service management, and all core IT services.
Before joining Samsara, Stephen was the CIO at Slack, and then previously the Vice President IT, Enterprise Applications at Workday. He also held positions at Cisco in a range of e-commerce, employee services and IT roles.
Stephen has a track record of creating best in class IT organizations that focus on automation engineering and enabling companies to scale and remain agile as they grow.
He earned his bachelor of science, with honors, in Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

Dave is the CISO at Samsara, leading security focus areas including threat intelligence, vulnerability management, security engineering and operations, and incident management.
Previously, Dave served as senior vice president, Security Integration, driving the information security strategy across all Salesforce business units and new acquisitions. Prior to Salesforce, he spent 17 years at Microsoft, where he was head of Windows Security and Platform Integrity. He was also a Navy submarine officer.
Dave holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington and an MBA from Marymount University.

With 25 years of experience in building and scaling companies across multiple markets and product categories, Philip serves as SVP EMEA at Samsara where he is responsible for the EMEA operations. Previously, Philip served as SVP, GM of EMEA at ServiceNow where he successfully grew EMEA revenue from $250 million to over $1 billion. Prior to ServiceNow, Philip served as the VP of Sales / Theater Lead for the EMEA region at Commvault and held a number of leadership roles at Data Domain/EMC. Earlier in his career, he was country manager for the Benelux region, and later for Western Europe and Africa at Decru, a NetApp company.
Philip holds an MBA from Bradford University.

Andrew is Samsara’s Chief Accounting Officer and leads our accounting functions. Before joining Samsara in May 2022, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of VMware, Inc., leading the company’s accounting functions from December 2019 to May 2022. Andrew previously served as the Vice President and Corporate Controller of VMware from April 2016 to December 2019. Before joining VMware, he held multiple controller and accounting positions of increasing responsibility at Applied Materials, Inc., last serving as Vice President, Global Accounting Controller. Andrew began his career in public accounting and last served as an audit manager at Deloitte & Touche.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Accounting from California State University Fresno and is a certified public accountant (inactive) in California.

Marc Andreessen is a cofounder and general partner at the venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz. He is an innovator and creator, one of the few to pioneer a software category used by more than a billion people and one of the few to establish multiple billion-dollar companies.
Marc co-created the highly influential Mosaic internet browser and co-founded Netscape, which later sold to AOL for $4.2 billion. He also co-founded Loudcloud, which as Opsware, sold to Hewlett-Packard for $1.6 billion. He later served on the board of Hewlett-Packard from 2008 to 2018.
Marc holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Susan Wagner is a cofounder and director of asset manager BlackRock, which she started with Larry Fink and others in 1988.
She cofounded the company at age 26 and went on to serve as chief operating officer and vice chairman.
Wagner oversaw BlackRock's 2009 merger with Barclay's Global Investors, which transformed the firm into the world's largest asset manager.
Prior to founding BlackRock, Wagner worked as a vice president of the mortgage finance group at Lehman Brothers.
She retired in 2012 but remains on BlackRock's board and also serves as a director of Apple, Swiss Re, Color Health and Samsara.

Sue Bostrom serves on the board of directors of the following public companies: ServiceNow, Nutanix and Anaplan. She also serves on the boards of 4 private companies and chairs their compensation committees: Druva, cloud data management SaaS, GitLab, application provider for the complete DevOps lifecycle, Outreach, a sales engagement platform, and Samsara, the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud.
Sue also served for more than a decade on the boards of two public companies, Varian Medical Systems and Cadence Design Systems. In addition, she was on the board of Marketo and Rocket Fuel through their IPOs and subsequent acquisitions.
Sue is the former EVP and chief marketing officer at Cisco Systems. With almost 14 years at the company in a variety of roles, she was responsible for developing and communicating Cisco’s vision and strategy through positioning, branding, advertising, and product marketing. Sue also had responsibility for Cisco’s Worldwide Government Affairs and Small Business Council.
Prior to her role as Cisco’s CMO, Sue built and led the Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG), bringing vertical expertise and Internet business best practices to global Fortune 500 companies and heads of state. In addition, she served as the executive sponsor of the Women’s Initiative at Cisco. Previously, Sue held leadership positions at FTP Software and National Semiconductor. She also served for seven years at McKinsey & Company as a leader in the electronics practice.
Sue serves on the board of Stanford Children's Health. She was formerly on the Stanford Medicine Advisory Council, the advisory board of the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR) and Georgetown University’s board of directors.
Ms. Bostrom received an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and served on its Management and Advisory Boards. She received a Bachelor of Science in business from the University of Illinois, graduating as a Bronze Tablet Scholar.

Ann Livermore began her career at Hewlett-Packard in 1982, retiring in 2011 when she joined the company's board of directors. She also served as an executive advisor to the CEO through 2015. She transitioned to the board of the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company following the company split in 2015. She has served on Qualcomm's board of directors since 2016 and on the United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS) board since 1997. She joined the board of Plenty in 2020 and the board of D2iQ in 2017.
Ann Livermore is a lecturer at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master's degree in business administration from Stanford.

From May 2014 to October 2023, she served in various leadership roles, including Chief Executive Officer of Square, at Block, Inc. Prior to Block, she served in a variety of leadership positions with Amazon.com, Inc. from 2006 to 2014, including as Vice President of Amazon Web Services and Storage Services. She currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Intel Corporation and Confluent, Inc., and previously served on the Board of Directors of Unity Software Inc. She holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Applied Science with a Specialization in Computing from the University of California, Los Angeles.
