The first deadline for ELD Compliance is just a few days away. Are you ready? Follow these steps to ensure that you’re ready for day one of ELD compliance:

1. Find an ELD solution

Before focusing on how to use your ELD, make sure you have devices set up and installed in all of your vehicles. Remember, if you’re planning to use AOBRDs, they MUST be installed before December 18th and you will have to use ELDs in any new vehicle if your fleet grows.

2. Print required in-cab materials

The ELD mandate requires that each vehicle has two documents - a user manual and driver instruction sheet - available in every cab. Put all the materials in your ELD-compliant vehicles to make sure you’re not caught off guard during your first DOT inspection!

3. Update DOT & Carrier information

4. Enter drivers’ license information
