Based on our customers’ feedback, we know that fleet managers need technology that centers around three key design principles:
Unified platform: You should have the power to see everything about your fleet at any time, on any device.
Intuitive design: You shouldn’t have to be a data scientist to find the insights that you need.
Built for teams: Your team should be able to easily find the information and workflows that matter to them, whether they’re in the office or in the field.

We launched nearly 100 features in the last year—that’s one every few days!—and with this pace of innovation, it’s more important than ever to make sure features are easily and instantly accessible. That’s why we’ve launched a vertical navigation on the left-hand side of the dashboard, which helps customers find what they need by quickly scanning from top to bottom. This new navigation also maximizes screen space on the dashboard without making it hard to find key features.
From speaking with customers, we know that some fleet managers like to use reports to track their operations, while others prefer to manage their fleets directly from the map. That’s why we’re giving added flexibility to expand map space within our dashboard. With this new design, fleet managers can easily collapse the navigation and vehicle list when tracking their vehicles and assets.

The refreshed dashboard is a central hub that makes it easy for any team—from dispatch to compliance, maintenance, safety, and more—to access key workflows and get full visibility into what’s happening across their fleet. Features are now grouped into categories that reflect our customers’ day-to-day responsibilities, including fleet tracking, safety, compliance, dispatch, and maintenance.
And now, this data is accessible at any time, anywhere, on any device: the Samsara Fleet app enables your whole team to stay connected, even if they spend most of their day away from their desks.
With a unified platform across both desktop and mobile, we’re making it easier for fleet managers to stay on top of operations, improve communication across teams, and take customer service to the next level. The upgraded dashboard is rolling out starting today for Samsara customers, and our U.S. customers will also be able to download Samsara Fleet for iOS and Android today.
