In the wake of increasing online recruitment scams, it's crucial for job seekers, especially those aiming to join Samsara, to stay vigilant against fraudulent job offers. This guide will empower potential Samsara candidates with the knowledge to identify and sidestep deceitful recruitment tactics.

Recognize Legitimate Communication

Samsara has specific protocols for communicating with job applicants. Our team will only communicate from emails ending with “@samsara.com” or “@us-greenhouse-mail.io”. Be wary of any communication that deviates from these domains. You can verify the legitimacy of jobs by cross-checking with Samsara's official careers page at www.samsara.com/company/careers to ensure you are pursuing genuine opportunities.

No Fees at Any Stage

Samsara will not charge fees at any stage of the recruitment process. At no time will we ask a candidate to pay for document processing, equipment costs, or similar types of expenses. Requests such as these are likely fraudulent.

Report Suspicious Offers

If you come across or receive a suspicious email, social media outreach, or job offer claiming to be from Samsara, it's important to report it promptly. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) provides resources for reporting fraudulent recruitment activities, aiding in the fight against these scams. You can report this to Samsara by emailing our team at fraudulent-employment-offers@samsara.com.

Ensuring Your Safety

Your vigilance is your strongest ally in navigating the job market safely. By understanding that legitimate companies like Samsara will never request payment for job opportunities and will only contact you through official channels, you can protect yourself from potential scams. Always take the step to verify any job offer directly with the company and report any suspicious activities to help maintain a safe job-hunting environment for everyone.

Samsara is on a mission to improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of the operations that power the global economy. To learn more, please check out our open positions here and follow us on LinkedIn and Instagram.
