Samsara automatically scores eligible drivers across three performance categories using real driving data—no extra work for you or your team. Scoring accounts for factors like route type and length so every driver competes on a level playing field.
Eligible drivers compete and are scored automatically through the Samsara Driver App.
Finalists are selected based on real performance data across safety, compliance, and efficiency.

Each month of the competition, hundreds of thousands of drivers compete to prove they’re among the most elite drivers on the road nationwide.

The Driver Cup is open to US-based Samsara customers on the platform for at least six months. Scores are normalized across factors like route type and length so local, regional, and long-haul drivers all compete fairly.
